A decade ago I fought them tooth and nail over civil rights abuses. They are an evil and contemptible company by conscious design.karmanothttp://adgitadiaries.blog-city.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7411573.post-56981704741759297522012-11-19T17:07:47.824-05:002012-11-19T17:07:47.824-05:00I, unfortunately, can't say that I haven't...I, unfortunately, can't say that I haven't been in a Wal-Mart in as long. Last year when trying to get things organized for Mom's funeral and needing supplies for the gathering after I was forced to go there as there was absolutely nothing else available. It was shortly after that that Mall-Wart workers burned to death because they were locked in the store overnight. It was some time after that that WM started taking out life insurance policies on some of its older lowest-level employees... not for their or their families' benefit, oh no, but as a source of profit for WM. And it got worse from there. I know all big-box stores have problems, but WM is different... worse than all the rest. May the owners rot in hell!Steve Batesnoreply@blogger.com
