Petition to Sign

Take a minute and sign the petition(if you haven't already done so) being sponsored by moveon.org. We need to do everything we can to put pressure on the Democrats not to fold on this issue of timelines for stopping our involvement in Iraq.

The president's veto of a plan that would bring our troops home from Iraq this year is a slap in the face to the American people who have made it clear that they want this mess ended.

There's a huge amount of pressure right now on Democrats in Congress to compromise and give the president what he wants. We need to make sure Congress stands firm on a deadline to end the war--instead of sending another blank check.
