If by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people - their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties - someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad; if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal." - John F. Kennedy

All's Well
How about that! Even though I didn't sit in front of the TV or computer worrying and wringing my hands the Goddess shifted Katrina just enough to spare The Big Easy and all its sin and whiskey and jazz and funky stuff and whack Mississippi and Alabama instead. Not that that I have anything against those two wonderful southern states and neighbors but I find it rather odd that two of the most religious states get it instead of sin central. Maybe they better rethink the insistence that God on His Throne, stern visage and all, is the real deal and look more favourably on the Goddess.
