Well, the House approved another tax cut today making almost a $100 billion in tax cuts in the last two days. Happy times are here again, that's for sure. Couple this tax cut with the cuts in student loans, food stamps and child support enforcement passed a few weeks ago that means we have only increased the deficit by $50 billion. There is a war on after all.
Our only hope is that the Senate actually considers the Federal deficit when they vote on the measure. Fortunately this was passed pretty much on partisan grounds so the Rethugs own this lock stock and barrel. yesterday's tax cut bills got way too much Democratic support and therefore we can't point at the Rethugs on those bills.
