If by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people - their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties - someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad; if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal." - John F. Kennedy

Never Learn
I haven't spent a lot of time working in the garden or yard this winter...mostly too wet. Today was a glorious day and I decided to go out and get some yard chores done. I pruned all of the crepe myrtle back and bagged up all the residue. I carried all the bags of sticks to the curb for Monday yard trash pickup day and then realized that I would soon be needing these sticks for my peas. Trudge them back from the street. To make a long story short....be careful how fast you 'swing into action' after a winter of minimum activity. I'm hurt.
