Yeah, I am still on Central European Time but I am getting a lot of backed up reading done. Still, I kinda wish I hadn't stumbled on this fact over at Roachblog
As noted, when I was doing my stint in the 60's and 70's, the North Vietnamese were the worst nightmare when it came to being a POW. I even went to a special school in California that simulated being captured by the North Vietnamese to sort of teach you what to expect. Now it turns out that 114 Americans died while in captivity there. That's the whole long bloody war. Bad, yes, but nowhere near as appalling as the fact that 108 have died while in American custody during the Iraq adventure.
