Stamping Out Hunger

Bryan at Why Now? reminds that Saturday is The National Association of Letter Carriers’ annual food drive, Stamp Out Hunger, takes place in most areas this Saturday, May 8^th.  The nation's food pantries are in dire straits and demand for their services is far outstripping supply. This food drive is a big contributor to food pantries across the nation and they really need some help.

If you are of a mind, fill a bag with non-perishables and leave it by your mail box on Saturday. If that won't work for, you most post offices will have a collection points. It doesn't have to be a lot, just a few cans of soup is better than nothing but of course, the more the better.
