This is day we have been waiting for since November,2000 or November, 2004 depending on your point of view. It's in the voter's hands now and there is nothing to do but wait and whatever you are doing to GOTV. If it is any encouragement, Dixville Notch, New Hampshire has a history of being the first locale to vote, both in the primary and general election. Dixville Notch is way up in the northernmost part of the state and hasn't voted for a Democrat since 1968. Tonight, according to CNN, Obama won Dixville Notch by a vote of 15 - 6.
Here's to a an encouraging start.
