Everything is Out There

In light of the latest from the lawsuit brought by the EFF against AT&T you should really consider yourself completely compromised. You have no secrets and every piece of information you have ever communicated electronically is now Mr. Bush's and Karl Rove's to do with as they please. If the lawsuit is true there are no secrets.
Even though you might not use SBC or AT&T directly you should realize that AT&T is probably the largest provider in the world of bandwidth. Even if you use Charter, Verizon, BellSouth or any of the myriad other service providers chances are your actual traffic traveled over the AT&T backbone at least during part of its travels. If it touched their backbone, which it most probably did, then AT&T and Mr. Bush got a chance to read it.
This is why the whole domestic spying thing is a "BIG DEAL" as I have posted before. You cannot spy on just some calls or emails without being able to sort through them all. You have to be able to have access to every communication even though you only may only actually want one out of a million emails.
Finally, we should be monitoring communications by foreign agents or even Americans intent on no good. However it must be done with the proper supervision by the courts and that is exactly what FISA provided. Did you know you gave Bush a blank check to know everything about you and your friends and family?
This is some serious stuff.
