Good Old Days

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.


Remember this old wheeze? It comes from that old Constitional Amendment that King George threw out a couple years ago along with a couple of others. I think it was the fourth, if memory serves. I just thought I would post it here for old times sake in light of this from Abu Gonzales yesterday testifying before Congress. You remember them don't you? They used to be the part of government charged with balancing the power of the President.
Abu basically told Congress yesterday that the President was a law unto himself and that they could go take a long walk on short pier. Is it just me or are they now believing that they are untouchable and free to say or do anything they want?
